Rain and more rain..

Its been raining for a couple of days already and I kinda just realized, but as I type this out it's stopping already.. and sunshine. Maybe its a sign from above, 'blog or it shall rain until you do'. =.=

Wow, its kinda gay to blog about the weather. But you know this is what I do when I have nothing else to blog about. Times of desperation..

Not.

I wanna rant. Rant about how too much rain sucks.

1. Because it gets my flops wet.

2. Because the damn car roof is leaking so it makes my seat belt wet.

3. Because the damn house roof is leaking. But that doesn't really matter.

4. Because theres no sun so I cant suntan.

Aerial view of my garden. Yup, my garden.

And its also quite funny. The flooding. The drains in Kuching are sooo huge (you could fit a kancil inside) and yet it still floods..

And the 'flood' isnt really deep.. especially the big puddles on the roads. What.. 40CM max?

See.. Its not that bad. :D

And then I saw some rescue truck thing towing a small boat. Then I was thinking of the possibilities... the potential.. as Malaysians..

'I IS COMING 2 SAVE U!'

And its also fun to play in the flood waters. Its like a giant muddy swimming pool. Then somehow you forget about all the dog shit that was on the road and play blissfully in the murky waters. =D

Some people try to surf with planks and other kampung crap.
But I'd rather play with my rubber duckie!

RAWR MY RUBBER DUCKIE OF DOOM.

Why so green?

You know you're in Kuching when...

Green water? =.=

Yes it is in Kuching. No its not photoshopped. No its not radioactive.

Okay, changed the template AGAIN, which took me an hour plus. Hopefully we will all agree that its an acceptable one. And hopefully I will stay satisfied with it (for quite some time). =D

Kuching 101 - Fried Rice

Heres a random post...
It is hard to order cheap food in Kuching if you don't know how to speak properly.

For example, when you say:

"I would like to order fried rice with chicken."

In a Chinese restaurant...

You get:

"Shicken frie rie, seven dolla!"

Kuching 101 - Liao

When you are in Kuching, you would need to communicate. Yes, I know, we need to communicate anywhere in the world.
But in Kuching, its slightly different. So I have come up with this post to help you all, to (hopefully) understand a bit more of what people here are actually saying.

Todays word will be:

Yes, I know... its Bart.

Liao or Liaw
Meaning: Already.

Pronounciation: Lee-aow

Usage:
He had dinner already.
He had dinner liao.

I know already.
I know liao.

Have you finished your food?
Finished your food liao?

It's a smart word. It replaces a three syllable word, which is useful in many cases such as shouting.
As shouting the word already would take up too much energy, shouting liao would save energy as it only has one syllable. You try.

Efficiency guys. ;)
